What is Living Firme?

The Urban dictionary defines “firme” as, fine, nice, hot or good.

We define “Living Firme” as living well. To us, it means living with the choices we have made and still being able to smile. It means being conscious enough to recognize the good life. #LivingFirme doesn’t mean we forget where we have been. As a matter of fact, it’s quite the contrary! We acknowledge that we’ve grown strong, in spite of heartache, struggle and pain. We’re proud of where we’ve come from and we love where we are going.

This is a brand founded in Los Angeles but intended for our familia across the globe. We pop up at car shows and special events. We support local vendors as much as humanly possible. We’re just getting started and we appreciate each and every one of you.

To me, Mi Vida Loca is not just a film but it’s a feeling, a state of being.

Small business Social Media Marketing Tips

This post is for all of you out there that are on the journey to financial freedom. I believe ANYTHING is possible and if you are willing to HUSTLE, there is no reason you cannot achieve your business goals. I have worked in marketing for a long time and I can tell you this, there is ALWAYS something new to learn and always a way to do things that you may not have previously thought of.

My passion is inspiring as many people as I can to achieve THEIR goals. I want to share with you, all the things that I am learning. In this video, I touch on how I plan to increase traffic to my blog and how I plan to grow my social channels.

I found that this graphic from Abdul Malick is very simple and it provides a helpful preliminary way to determine how to spend your valuable time and why.

Here is my very ambitious posting schedule. Mind you, I have a lofty (yet believable) goal for myself AND I am a professional. If you are not a pro marketer, think about the networks that are going to give you the best return on the time you invest.

For those of you who have your own businesses, I have some news about both FB Messenger and YouTube that may be a good fit for your marketing strategy.

I also unbox my Amazon video equipment haul. Please be patient with this video, The connection was weak but the information is worth watching.

Yes, the filters are silly but the ability to video call a large is AWESOME. The word from the Facebook Newsroom is that “You can see up to six people at a time … but don’t worry if your group is a little larger because up to 50 friends can join in and choose to just listen in and join via voice, or be on camera. Once more than six people are on the call, just the dominant speaker is shown to all participants.” Keep in mind that you can hold a remote class and stream from the app on your phone or from your desktop (https://www.messenger.com) Check out the video below.

So I wasn’t able to demonstrate the “Snapchatish” features available on Facebook Messenger. There are a TON of fun filters but those of you that crave the flawlessness that comes with the “beauty” filters on Snapchat or Instagram may be disappointed.

I really enjoy Les Brown’s messages. Here are five provocative quotes plus a video to motivate you to believe you can live your best life!

  1. Give your dream a chance to live!! Nurture it daily with the seeds of determination, inspiration, drive, and creativity. Feed it with passion, faith, patience, and positive expectation. Allow it to blossom by surrounding yourself with people who are doing things with their lives, and who believe in working hard to make things happen.
  2. Be willing to go all out, in pursuit of your dream. Ultimately it will pay off. You are more powerful than you think you are. Go for it.
  3. Other people’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.
  4. Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.
  5. Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.

How to BE Drama Free

If your newsfeeds and inboxes are not filled with what you want or need to hear, change them.

It’s gotten to the point where many of us measure our worth by the likes and comments we get on social media. I have had more than one person tell me how bullying, bad-mouthing and drama on social media has upset them to the point of illness.

Many of our businesses are online so it’s hard to unplug completely but what do we do when personal issues arise and interrupt our flow? Strong social support is essential to our well-being but when our “friendships” generate stress or anxiety, they are more damaging than good.  So what can we do?

  1. Ignore
  2. Unfollow
  3. Block
  4. Disconnect
The goal is to be drama free. It’s a simple concept, right? So why doesn’t it FEEL easy?  Sometimes in life, we have to deal with difficult people and situations. Someone requested I make this video on how to deal with difficult people.

The bottom line is that there will be people and circumstances that challenge you. Make an effort to connect with people who inspire you. This applies to online relationships and in real life. Drama is really only good on film. So if you are not getting paid and the cameras aren’t rolling, cut the drama from your life and FOCUS on you. YOU are amazing.
